Fequência Global (Global Frequency) é uma série criada por Warren Ellis, desenhada por Simon Bisley, Steve Dillon, Chris Sprouse, Roy A. Martinez, Tom Coker, Garry Leach, Jon J. Muth, Jason Pearson, David Lloyd, Lee Bermejo, Gena Ha e Glenn Fabry, e publicada pela Wildstorm (selo da DC). Em cada edição a história tem começo, meio e fim. Em comemoração aos 100 anos da Ficção-Científica nos cinemas, a O.F.C.S. (Online Film Critics Socity) publicou em 2002 uma lista dos 100 melhores filmes do gênero. O marco inicial é "Viagem à lua" de George Méliès (1861-1938) - assita ao final da lista. O filme foi lançado na França em setembro de 1902.

As apresentações aconteceram no Teatro Municipal, ainda na reta final das reformas. No domingo, dia 23, o ingresso foi apenas R$ 1. O suficiente para encher os mais de dois mil lugares disponíveis. Já havia fila no local três horas antes do evento.

Dois cientistas rebeldes (Brody e Polley) decidem desafiar a ética e a lei ao realizar um experimento arriscado: unir o DNA humano e o animal, criando um novo organismo. Os problemas começam quando a criatura, inicialmente deformada, se transforma em uma mulher bela, Dren, apresentando uma série de evoluções inesperadas, tanto física quanto intelectualmente, oferecendo perigo para a vida humana.

Além de Brody e Polley, o filme tem no elenco os atores Abigail Chu (Jovem Dren), Delphine Chanéac (Dren), David Hewlett (Barlow).

Ainda não tem título em português nem previsão de lançamento no Brasil, porém, nos EUA, o filme deve estrear em 04 de junho.
